Two new Metro links set to get nod

Having put the Noida-Greater Noida Metro corridor on track, the Noida Metro Rail Company (NMRC) is all set to finalize two new Metro routes this month one from Noida Sector 71 to Greater Noida Knowledge Park V and the other from Okhla Bird Sanctuary to Noida Sector 143, eventually forming a loop covering various parts of the twin cities and Greater Noida (west).

Vivo to stark manufacturing phones in Noida from October – The Economic Times

Chinese handset maker Vivo is looking to start a manufacturing plant in Greater Noida by October with an initial investment of Rs 12.5 crore. It aims to sell two million handsets by the end of this year, with 4G LTE devices accounting for 40 per cent of the sales. “We have taken 30,000 square metres of land on lease in Greater Noida and expect to start assembling our smartphones by October 2015. In the first phase (till December 2015), we will invest Rs 12.5 crore in the facility,” said Alex Feng, CEO of Vivo India and chief marketing officer of Vivo Global.

The dates for the 2016 Auto Expo – The Motor Show are out as motoring enthusiasts prepare themselves to welcome new products to the Indian market. Auto Expo, the biennial show of the Indian automotive industry is jointly organized by – Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).

Noida to get an airport | Business Insider India

A new airport at Jewar has been approved by civil aviation ministry. It would be built along the Yamuna Expressway that connects Greater Noida with Agra.

Experts believe the airport has huge potential to boost property demand in the area. Till now, both domestic and international companies have usually preferred Gurgaon over Noida because it’s nearer to the Delhi airport.

Metro may go to Jewar, plan to extend Greater Noida Line – The Times of India

In order to provide connectivity to the rapidly urbanizing area, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is working on a feasibility plan to put the Metro on track up to Jewar.

The proposed 48- to 50-km Metro track is estimated to come at a cost of Rs 2,000 crore and will be aligned at the road level along the Yamuna Expressway.
