A new airport at Jewar has been approved by civil aviation ministry. It would be built along the Yamuna Expressway that connects Greater Noida with Agra.
Experts believe the airport has huge potential to boost property demand in the area. Till now, both domestic and international companies have usually preferred Gurgaon over Noida because it’s nearer to the Delhi airport.

In order to provide connectivity to the rapidly urbanizing area, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is working on a feasibility plan to put the Metro on track up to Jewar.
The proposed 48- to 50-km Metro track is estimated to come at a cost of Rs 2,000 crore and will be aligned at the road level along the Yamuna Expressway.

A centre along the lines of the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi will soon open in Noida. The announcement was made by Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Alok Ranjan during the second Noida, Greater Noida, Yamuna Expressway (NGY) Infra Conclave-2015 on Friday.
“It will have the biggest auditorium in NCR and will be able to house 5,000 people at a given time. Twenty-five acres of land have been allotted between the Noida and Greater Noida Expressway. The Noida and Greater Noida authorities have already given the land to the Cultural Department and they will work in unison to complete this project. Funds for the project will come from the Centre,” Ranjan said.

The public sector Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) reduced the prices of compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped natural gas (PNG) in Delhi and the Uttar Pradesh towns of Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad with effect from today.
This follows the decision of the Government yesterday to reduce the prices of domestically produced natural gas.
The reduction would benefit nearly 5.5 lakh households and owners of over 8,00,000 CNG run vehicles in these cities, a press release from IGL said.
