Traffic diversion proposed to avoid congestion at Pari Chowk

Connectivity With Greater Noida Getting Better

Buses going from Noida to Greater Noida will soon be diverted to avoid the congestion in Pari Chowk. The decision was taken at a meeting of senior officials of the Noida and Greater Noida Authorities, transport officers and traffic police to streamline traffic movement in the two cities.
According to officials, no buses travelling from Noida via the Noida-Greater Noida expressway will be allowed to park or pick up passengers from Pari Chowk. These buses will be taking a left turn exiting from the Galgotias College exit on the e-way. The diversion will help to make area less accident prone. The ongoing underpass construction work being carried out at the City Centre crossing has already added to the woes of the regular commuters.
Meanwhile, Shashi Chowk, was also under the scanner of city administrators in Noida. The Noida Authority has installed eight traffic lights and several display signboards to guide commuters at the roundabout.
